Our world-class Yoga instructor Angela Du walked into her first yoga class almost a decade ago with no athletic or fitness background. With guidance from her master teacher, Lola Dikaiou, who has over 30 years of experience in the Yoga and Holistic Health Fitness Industry, Angela was able to quickly shine bright and show tremendous spiritual growth.
In 2011, she took her love for yoga to the next level and received two certifications for teaching and started sharing her practice with the community. After five years of teaching under her belt, she then decided to reach further for universal knowledge. In May of 2016, she spent a month studying in Rishikesh, India, a city in the Himalayan foothills beside the Ganges River. The river is considered holy, and the city is renowned as a center for studying yoga and meditation.
Now in the city of Pasadena, Angela uses her soft harmonic voice to guide students through session of self-discovery. Using the combination of movement and rhythmic breathing to create challenges for the mind and body then providing stretches and counterposes to relief tension and stress.
Angela says, “My main goal for every class is for all my students to discover something wonderful about themselves. Getting fit, losing weight, becoming more flexible and balanced are just an added bonus.”
