Dr. Christopher Paniagua: Physical Therapist in Pasadena

Meet Dr. Chris, one of our dedicated physical therapists who combines clinical expertise with a down-to-earth personality that instantly puts patients at ease. Born and raised in Southern California, Chris has lived everywhere from Fontana to San Dimas before settling in West Covina, which he jokingly calls his own version of westward expansion. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Azusa Pacific University after completing his B.S. in Kinesiology at Cal State Fullerton, and he is passionate about helping people move better, recover faster, and get back to the activities they love. Chris believes the key to great care is building genuine connections with his patients, listening to their goals, and tailoring treatment to meet their unique needs. For him, success is not just about recovery, it is about making sure every patient feels heard, supported, and empowered.

Outside the clinic, Chris leads a life as colorful as his therapy sessions. He enjoys weightlifting, rock climbing, and spending time with family, friends, and his wife, whether that means enjoying a pepperoni pizza, watching The Dark Knight for the hundredth time, or gearing up for a Christmas movie marathon. And in case you are wondering about hidden talents, Chris is also a semi professional gamer (yes, really). When he is not guiding patients through recovery, you might find him competing in digital arenas, although he promises that he brings the same level of focus and strategy to his patients’ rehab programs as he does to his gaming sessions. With his mix of expertise, energy, and humor, Chris makes physical therapy not just effective, but actually enjoyable.
