While the team is celebrating the win for the days and weeks to follow, there is a reality that Max has to face with his recovery. The things he was used to doing on a normal basis were no more.

Imagine coming from the highs of being the starting goalkeeper in a championship game to having surgery the next day while the rest of your teammates and family are at the victory parade. 

Imagine not being able to attend the World Cup with the Canada National Team, their first one in the last 26 years. 

Bottom line… It’s Tough!
