/One of the biggest questions we like to ask our clients after they have succeeded in reaching their goals here at HealthFit is, "Why did you wait so long for you to make a decision to make an appointment?"
Here are the three top reasons why:
1. You don’t think anything will help.
Prior to coming in, a lot of our clients were quite skeptical about healthcare as a whole. If you have been to numerous medical doctors, tried injections, medication, physical therapists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, and massage therapists… you are not alone.
I get it… “I’ve already been to a million other people, why should I trust you guys?”
The biggest downfall of our medical society is that most are just in rush to get you in and out of door. How can anyone find out what is truly causing your problem without actually LISTENING TO YOU?
This is exactly why all of our professionals see our clients completely one-on-one without the use of aides. That way, you can personally ask any questions and voice your concerns directly to the person that will be taking care of you. Throughout this process, we are constantly evaluating and figuring out your situation whether it be with our hands on techniques or during your corrective sequences.

2. It will get better on its own.
For instance, many of our patients have been experiencing discomfort for a long time… I mean 5, 10, 15 years. The first time someone experiences back, knee or shoulder pain, it usually goes away within a few days. This is common in most cases.
Then the same injury tends to rear it’s ugly head maybe a few months later. You just rest and the pain goes away again. But this time, it takes a few weeks instead of a few days.
Now that this has happened, the injury starts to happen a lot more frequently and the pain just stays lingers. The discomfort is just nagging in the background but you still don’t consider it “painful enough” to do something about it. In your mind, you are probably justifying that this is something you are OK living with the rest of your life.
I hate to say it, if you are at this point, it’s probably not going to get better on it’s own. Primarily because you are not addressing the underlying cause of WHY it is happening in the first place.

As frustrating as this may sound, within the in-network healthcare system, you will be hard pressed to find an office that isn’t seeing more than 2 to 4 patients an hour for physical therapy and chiropractic services. If you have been to one of these facilities, you know what I am talking about.
Don’t get me wrong, the doctors you are seeing are probably very good and qualified. But the challenge that they face is sheer volume and keeping up with the insurance system since reimbursement is so low nowadays. If will be difficult to find a physical therapist or chiropractor that will take the time to walk you through the process step by step. This type of value is very difficult to find.
