I have been dealing with lower back pain for YEARS (& when I say years..I mean more than 10+ years) & it was something I just learned to deal with. Getting into powerlifting a few years ago also encouraged the pain to become more consistent & bothersome to deal with. I went to chiropractors, got athletic massages, and then I decided to look into physical therapy. BEST DECISION OF MY LIFE. Dr. Cheri has been so amazing in helping me with my lower back pain & all of the other pains & tweaks that have popped up within the past couple of months. She has been able to help me identify why I have pain, and what movements/positions are causing me to develop pain in the first place & it has just been such a world of a difference. I haven't felt that nagging back pain for a while now & it just feels so nice :') (Plus..a little bonus..get you a PT that saves your favorite chocolates for you & makes TASTY desserts!) Not only has Dr. Cheri been great, but the rest of the staff - especially the front desk is so welcoming. It doesn't feel like a cold office. Everyone is so warm & inviting. Don't be like past me and live with the pain you've been having. Don't be past me & skip your mobility work & proper forms of stretching. Go visit HealthFit & get your body in check!
-Ayumi S,
I had a great experience with Dr. Cheri, who helped me recover from a running-related metatarsal injury. Not only did she help me with the initial problem, but we worked together to identify and strengthen other weak points throughout my lower body that were being overloaded. Instead of isolating any individual area, she was great at providing a holistic explanation of how each muscle or joint affected another. Some of the exercises weren't easy, but Dr. Cheri was patient and a great guide through everything I needed to do. Highly recommend!
